Created in 1932, the Muenster Volunteer Fire Department has strived to provide the citizens in their fire district with second to none Emergency Response care. Led by Chief Mitch Creed and Assistant Chief Deano Bayer, we strive to keep our fire department up to date with the best training and equipment possible. Our firemen are second to none in their dedication. We currently have 39 members on the department. We opened up our new fire station in 2018. We built this station off of donations and help from our city. Zero taxes have been raised to the building of the station. We also have an annual concert and crawfish boil on the first weekend of June each year to pay the yearly station payment. In August, we put on a yearly BBQ and Auction to provide us with operating funds.
